Europe-to-Asia Itineraries Lead a Busy Day of Travel Planning on Plantrip
Travelers mapped 154 new itineraries on Plantrip in the past 24 hours, with ambitious multi-stop journeys across Europe and Asia standing out alongside a strong stream of family holidays, road trips and beach escapes. Italy featured repeatedly, from Rome, Positano and Vibo Valentia plans beginning in Pittsburgh to route-building through Munich, Lake Como, the Dolomites, Tuscany and Milan.
European city-hopping was a clear theme. Travelers outlined rail and driving routes linking Bilbao, San Sebastián, Bordeaux and Paris; London, Paris and Rome; Prague, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest; and Amsterdam, Paris, Switzerland, Munich, Salzburg, Venice, Florence, Rome and the Amalfi Coast. Spain also drew detailed interest, with long itineraries incorporating Madrid, Toledo, Córdoba, Granada, Ronda, Seville and Barcelona, plus onward stops in Lisbon, Andorra and France.
Asia-Pacific trips were equally varied. Japan planners requested Tokyo, three days at Tokyo Disneyland, Mount Fuji and Osaka, while others focused on Hiroshima and Miyajima’s Peace Memorial Park, Atomic Bomb Dome, Itsukushima Shrine and Mount Misen. Singapore and Malaysia appeared in family-friendly plans built around Genting Highlands, Legoland, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, Universal Studios and Harry Potter: Visions of Magic. New Zealand also surfaced in November itineraries from Sydney through Auckland, Hamilton and Queenstown before flights to Perth.
Closer-to-home travel remained highly practical and experience-led. U.S. planners chose Yellowstone, Steamboat Springs, Estes Park, New York, Atlanta, Portsmouth and a California Zephyr rail journey, while road-trip requests ranged from Long Island to Buffalo and Toronto to Iceland’s Ring Road. Families were especially focused on London, with plans featuring the British Museum, London Eye, Legoland and Windsor Castle, while accessibility-conscious visitors built London schedules around a mobility scooter and landmark stops including the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and the Warner Bros. Beach time, culture and food rounded out the day’s plans. Curaçao visitors were plotting Pietermaai-to-Westpunt island-hopping days; Goa travelers blended forts, beaches, nightlife and fish thalis; and Malta-bound couples planned Sliema and Valletta days around historic sites, waterfront walks, local shops and affordable cocktail dinners. Across India, detailed self-drive routes connected destinations including Kerala, Ooty, Puri, Konark, Goa, Rishikesh and Ladakh—showing travelers seeking both landmark-packed schedules and slower scenic escapes.
