Vietnam, India and Island Getaways Feature in Plantrip’s Latest Travel Plans
Vietnam, Indian hill towns and tropical islands figured prominently in travel plans created on Plantrip.io in the 24 hours leading up to October 4, 2026. Across 108 itineraries, travelers mapped out everything from short, budget-conscious breaks to multi-country journeys, often asking for routes that balance sightseeing with time to relax.
Vietnam appeared in plans for a honeymoon, a 10-day friends’ trip and journeys linking Hanoi with Sa Pa, Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh. One traveler hoped to add Ha Giang and Phu Quoc before returning to India on December 1, while others focused on shorter Hanoi–Sa Pa trips from Chennai.
Within India, travelers planned trips to Munnar’s tea estates, Chikmagalur’s waterfalls and peaks, Darjeeling, Dalhousie and the beaches around Malvan. Practical limits shaped many requests: a seven-person Chikmagalur group set a ₹5,000-per-person budget, while a Munnar road trip called for scenic drives, small treks and sunsets rather than parks or museums.
Island travel brought a different mix of priorities. Bali planners grouped activities by location around Ubud, Canggu and the coast; Thailand-bound travelers wanted southern beaches, good food and downtime. Other requests ranged from a wheelchair-conscious anniversary cruise and a multigenerational family celebration to a year in New Zealand on a working holiday visa. Together, the plans show travelers seeking trips tailored as closely to their companions, budgets and pace as to the places they hope to visit.
