Road Trips and Japan Adventures Stand Out in Plantrip’s Latest Travel Plans

Published October 9, 2026

Road trips and Japan journeys stood out among the 92 itineraries created on Plantrip.io in the 24 hours ending October 9, 2026. Travelers mapped out drives through India’s Konkan coast and the American West, while others planned winter visits to Osaka, Tokyo and beyond.

Japan plans ranged from a solo vegetarian trip from Delhi in November to a detailed January–February journey through Osaka and Tokyo. That traveler hopes to visit Universal Studios Japan, take day trips to Kyoto, Nara and Hiroshima, and make time for Pokémon attractions, teamLab, Tokyo Disneyland and Mount Fuji.

Driving plans were equally specific. Several travelers asked about Oklahoma-to-Yellowstone routes, while others sought scenic, toll-free roads between New York and New Hampshire or an RV route from Denver to Acadia National Park timed for fall foliage. In India, one Mumbai traveler plotted a day trip to Lonavala around viewpoints, waterfalls, caves, misal and chikki.

Elsewhere, travelers planned Sydney and Gold Coast stops before reaching Airlie Beach, a Guatemala trip combining Antigua, Lake Atitlán and Pacific Coast surfing, and a solo Manila visit focused on adventure and nightlife. The requests show how closely travelers are tailoring itineraries to their time, budgets and interests.
