India Itineraries Lead Plantrip’s Latest Travel Plans, With Thailand and Vietnam Close Behind
Trips across India featured prominently among the 100 itineraries created on Plantrip.io in the 24 hours leading up to October 12, 2026. Travelers planned everything from short breaks in Kochi and Meghalaya to train journeys through Rajasthan and temple visits in Ujjain and Omkareshwar. Many requests asked for practical details—transport, meal stops, hotel costs and realistic travel times—rather than a simple list of sights.
Thailand was another recurring destination, especially for November travel. Plans ranged from a Phuket nightlife trip for two friends to a couple’s route linking Phuket, Phi Phi, Krabi and Bangkok. Island-hopping, boat rides and beach stays featured alongside requests for affordable accommodation and advice on getting around.
Vietnam drew detailed multi-stop plans, including Hanoi trips built around the Old Quarter, Ha Long Bay and Sapa, and a Da Nang–Hoi An visit featuring Ba Na Hills, the Coconut Forest and Marble Mountains. Elsewhere, travelers mapped out a December journey through Sri Lanka from Colombo and Sigiriya to Ella, Mirissa and Galle, while European requests included a five-city February route from Prague to Paris.
The day’s requests also showed how personal circumstances shape an itinerary. One Singapore-based group sought a leisurely, wheelchair-friendly Taipei trip; a family wanted a Kashmir route suitable for a five-year-old; and a traveler planning Chiang Mai specified vegan dining and LGBTQ-friendly experiences. Across destinations, travelers were looking for trips that fit their time, budgets and companions.
