New York City, Wayanad and China Feature in a Day of Detailed Travel Planning
From New York skyline views to waterfall stops in India, travelers created 115 itineraries on Plantrip.io in the 24 hours leading up to October 20, 2026. Many requests went beyond choosing a destination: travelers asked for routes, budgets and schedules tailored to how they want to spend their time.
New York City appeared repeatedly in plans for October, November and December. Travelers named the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park and Times Square, while several sought advice on Statue of Liberty sunset cruises, sightseeing buses and affordable places to eat. One particularly packed October plan included reservations for Edge, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt and the Empire State Building on the same day.
In India, repeated Wayanad requests called for two days based in Kalpetta, with no caves, trekking or long walks and routes suitable for an ordinary car. Other travelers planned Rajasthan journeys by train, short trips to Mysore and Meghalaya, and a Pune-to-Rameswaram road trip capped at 400 kilometres of driving per day. Cost and practicality mattered: one Rajasthan request set a budget of ₹44,500 for four people, including an overnight Jaisalmer desert camp.
International plans ranged from first-time Tokyo visits and a slower-paced winter stay in Kyoto and Osaka to ambitious China routes linking Beijing’s Great Wall with Xi’an, Chongqing and Wulong. Across these requests, travelers were not simply collecting landmarks. They were weighing transport connections, time to rest and experiences—from local food and neighbourhood walks to castles, coastlines and mountain scenery.
