Japan, Paris and Family Getaways Stand Out in a Day of Travel Planning
Japan drew some of the most detailed travel requests on Plantrip.io in the 24 hours ending October 25, 2026. Among 101 itineraries created, travelers mapped out multiweek visits built around anime, gaming, onsens and Universal Studios Japan, while others planned a March honeymoon focused on nature and a spring trip combining cherry blossoms with the Alpine Route.
Several Japan requests specified Super Nintendo World on December 1, alongside Pokémon, private ryokan stays and a visit to Mount Fuji. Elsewhere in Asia, travelers sought plans for Taiwan sightseeing and shopping, South Korea trips with Seoul conference dates or fewer hotel changes, and family travel across Hong Kong, Macau and Guangzhou.
Europe featured a different kind of planning challenge: fitting memorable experiences into tight schedules. Repeated Paris requests for an October 29–November 1 couples’ trip worked around booked visits to the Louvre and Fondation Louis Vuitton while making room for Notre-Dame, Sacré-Cœur, the Eiffel Tower and a Seine cruise. Other travelers plotted routes through Austria and neighboring countries, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany.
Families and groups also asked for itineraries shaped by practical constraints. Requests ranged from a beach-accessible Hawaii stay for an adult and preschooler to an Auckland trip using the city as a base for day excursions with seniors. Across destinations, the day’s plans paired wish-list sights with specific needs for transport, budgets, accessibility and time together.
