    Start your day by heading to the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, located on the western tip of the Chorao Island. Take a boat ride through the mangrove forests and try to spot some of the migratory birds that visit the sanctuary. Later in the day, visit one of the spice plantations located in the area. Take a guided tour of the plantation and learn about the different spices and herbs grown here, including cardamom, pepper, and nutmeg. End your day by savouring a traditional Goan meal at one of the local restaurants.

  4. Day 4: Enjoy the Scenic Beauty of Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary
    1 hour 5 minutes (31.9 km) from Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary

    Begin your day by visiting the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary, which is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the Bengal tiger and the Indian leopard. Take a guided tour of the sanctuary and learn about the different species of animals and plants that call this place home. In the afternoon, head to the Arvalem Caves, a set of ancient rock-cut caves that date back to the 6th century. End your day by taking a dip in the Arvalem Waterfall, located nearby.
