Explore the iconic Grand Palace, the former residence of Thai kings, and marvel at its intricate architecture and golden temples. Head to Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which contains a 66-centimeter-tall image of the Buddha carved from a single block of jade. End the day with a visit to Khao San Road, a famous street known for its nightlife, street food, and bargain shopping.
Take a stroll along the Patong Beach, and enjoy the sun, sand and sea. Head to Phuket Old Town, a quaint area with Sino-Portuguese architecture and traditional shophouses that have been converted into trendy cafes, art galleries and boutique shops. Visit Big Buddha, the 45-meter-tall statue that is one of Phuket's most famous landmarks. For the second day, take a speedboat to Phi Phi Islands where you can discover the marine life by snorkeling, and visit the famous Maya Bay as featured in the Leonardo DiCaprio movie "The Beach."

The most efficient way to move across the countries is by air. Internal flights between Bangkok, Phuket, and Krabi are readily available, and prices start approximately from 2,000 baht one way. Taxis and car services are also available, they are efficient if you're traveling in a group. The costs are approximately starting from 500 baht to 1,000 baht per day.
If you have more time, you can take a day trip to Chiang Mai and visit the famous temples in the ancient city. For those interested in outdoor activities, add rock climbing, hiking or scuba diving in the other surrounding islands. If you have less time, remove a day from Phi Phi Island tour.
Thailand has several international airports. Bangkok has two airports; Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK). Phuket International airport (HKT) is the second busiest airport in Thailand after BKK. Krabi International Airport (KBV) offers international and domestic flights, and it is approximately 15 km from Krabi Town.
