3-Day Itinerary for Spiti in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kaza
    7 hours 18 minutes (222 km) from Manali

    In the morning, visit the Key Monastery, one of the largest and most iconic monasteries in Spiti. Afternoon, head to the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary to spot rare Himalayan animals like the snow leopard and the Tibetan wolf. In the evening, watch the sunset at the Kaza village viewpoint.

  2. Day 2: Langza
    1 hour 22 minutes (30.4 km) from Kaza

    In the morning, visit the fossil-rich Langza village and marvel at the stunning view of the Chau Chau Kang Nelda peak. In the afternoon, head to the Hikkim village and send postcards from one of the world's highest post offices. In the evening, visit the nearby Comic village, the highest motorable village in Asia.

  3. Day 3: Chandratal Lake
    6 hours 20 minutes (112 km) from Kaza

    In the morning, drive through the scenic roads to reach Chandratal Lake, and take a walk around its beautiful shores. In the afternoon, head to the Kunzum Pass, where you can see the stunning Bara-Sigri glacier. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire under the stars at a nearby campsite.
