Kasol Nature Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Tosh Village
    1 hour 30 minutes (20 miles) from Kasol

    In the morning, drive from Kasol to Tosh Village. Tosh is a scenic village situated at the end of Parvati Valley. Visit the Tosh waterfall, which is one of the main attractions of Tosh Village. Have lunch at one of the restaurants in the village. Afternoon is the best time to explore the village and its surroundings. Take a walk around the village and enjoy the beautiful views of the valley. In the evening, relax and enjoy the local cuisine in one of the cafes before heading back to Kasol.

  2. Day 2: Kheerganga Trek
    1 hour 30 minutes (20 miles) from Kasol

    Start your day early and drive to Bharshaini, the starting point of the Kheerganga trek. The trek is around 12 km long and takes around 5-6 hours to complete. Enjoy the beautiful views of the valley and the Parvati River while trekking. Once you reach Kheerganga, take a dip in the natural hot water spring and enjoy the stunning views of the valley. After lunch, start your descent back to Bharshaini and drive back to Kasol. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire and local food in one of the cafes.

  3. Day 3: Malana Village and Chalal Village
    1 hour (5.5 miles) from Kasol

    Visit Malana Village, famous for its unique culture and architecture. Take a walk around the village and interact with the locals. Please be respectful of their culture and beliefs. After lunch, drive to Chalal Village, another beautiful village situated on the banks of Parvati River. Take a walk around the village and enjoy the stunning views of the river and the valley. In the evening, enjoy your meal in one of the cafes before heading back to Kasol.

If you have an extra day in Kasol, you can visit Manikaran Sahib, a famous Sikh shrine situated on the banks of the Parvati River. You can also go camping in the beautiful meadows of Grahan Village. For adrenaline junkies, you can go river rafting in the Parvati River. If you want to maximize your fun in Kasol, try the local cuisine and visit the flea markets for some shopping.

If you want to explore more of Himachal Pradesh, you can take a side trip to Manali, a popular hill station situated around 80 km from Kasol. You can also visit the Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley, and the Hadimba Temple in Manali.
