2-Day Mumbai City Experience Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Gateway of India
    30 minutes (8.9km) from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus

    Morning: Start your day by visiting the Gateway of India, an iconic 20th-century arch built in the Indo-Saracenic style. Take a stroll around the area and enjoy the stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Afternoon: Head to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya Museum, which is just a few minutes away from the Gateway of India.   2. Day 2: Elephanta Caves
    1 hour 15 minutes (15km drive and 10km ferry ride) from Gateway of India

    Morning: Take an early morning ferry ride from the Gateway of India to the Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The caves are a collection of rock-cut caves dedicated to Hindu and Buddhist deities. Afternoon: Head back to Mumbai city and visit the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, a cable-stayed bridge that connects the suburbs of Bandra and Worli. Enjoy the scenic view of the bridge and the Arabian Sea. Evening: End your trip by visiting the Colaba Causeway, a bustling street market that offers a variety of street food, clothes, jewellery and handicrafts.

If you have time, visit the Haji Ali Dargah, a beautiful mosque located in the middle of the Arabian Sea. Take a walk around the iconic Crawford Market, which is famous for its fresh produce and street food.
