  2. Day 2: Vasuki Tal

You will be required to carry food and camping gear as there are no shops or restaurants on the way. Spend the afternoon exploring the lake and camping overnight. The night sky is clear during November, offering a glimpse of the milky way and numerous constellations.

  3. Day 3: Gandhi Sarovar

    Gandhi Sarovar is a glacial lake located at an altitude of 4,000 meters. The trek starts from Kedarnath and takes around an hour to complete. Spend the afternoon exploring the nearby Vasuki Tal waterfall and Brahmkund hot springs. Return to Kedarnath in the evening for some local cuisine.

  4. Day 4: Son Prayag

In the afternoon, explore the nearby Triyuginarayan Temple, which is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva and Parvati got married. After that, head back to Kedarnath for some last-minute shopping and souvenirs.

Recommendations

If you have some extra time, you can consider visiting the Madhmaheshwar Temple, which is one of the Panch Kedar temples. It is located at a distance of 24 km from Guptkashi and can be reached by car. You can also consider taking a dip in the Tapt Kund, which is a natural hot spring located near the Kedarnath Temple. Side trips to nearby places like Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri can also be considered if you have additional days. To maximize fun, make sure to carry warm clothes and hiking boots as the weather can be unpredictable. Also, try the local cuisine like Kachmauli and Bhang Ki Chutney.
