3-Day Itinerary for Lucknow in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Bara Imambara
    20 minutes (7.8 km) from Lucknow Airport

    In the morning, visit the Bara Imambara, a grand monument built in the 18th century by the Nawab of Lucknow. Explore its intricate hallways and corridors, and climb to the top of the Bhul Bhulaiya to enjoy panoramic views of the city. In the afternoon, head to the Chota Imambara, a smaller but equally impressive building with beautiful chandeliers and a stunning silver throne. End the day with some shopping at Hazratganj, a popular shopping district with plenty of local shops and restaurants.

  2. Day 2: Lucknow Zoo and Rumi Darwaza
    15 minutes (5.5 km) from Bara Imambara

    Start the day with a visit to the Lucknow Zoo, home to a variety of animals and birds from around the world. In the afternoon, head to the Rumi Darwaza, a towering gateway that serves as a symbol of Lucknow's rich history and architecture. Explore the surrounding area, which is filled with beautiful buildings and monuments. Finish the day with dinner at Tunday Kababi, a famous restaurant known for its delicious kebabs.

  3. Day 3: British Residency and Janeshwar Mishra Park
