  1. Day 1: Mumbai
    Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus

    In the morning, explore Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at this stunning railway station's Victorian Gothic architecture, a blend of Indian and European styles. Then head to the Gateway of India, a must-visit monument in Mumbai, located right next to the Arabian Sea. After lunch, visit the Kanheri Caves, an ancient Buddhist site with beautiful rock-cut cave temples. End the day with a visit to the Elephanta Caves, situated on an island and accessible by ferry. These caves are known for their intricate carvings and sculptures.

  2. Day 2: Pune
    Agakhan Palace

    Begin the day by visiting the Agakhan Palace, a national monument built by Sultan Muhammed Shah Aga Khan III in 1892. It is famous for being the place where Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba Gandhi, his secretary Mahadev Desai, and Sarojini Naidu were interned from 1942 to 1944. Afterward, visit the Shaniwar Wada Palace, a historical fortification built in 1732. Explore the ruins of this once-glorious palace and learn about its fascinating history. End the day with a visit to the Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, home to a vast collection of Indian artifacts, including traditional Indian musical instruments, weapons, and paintings.
