Bhutan Nature Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Paro
    10 minutes (6.5 km) from Paro International Airport

    In the morning, visit the beautiful Rinpung Dzong fortress followed by a hike to the Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest) in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Bhutanese dinner.

  2. Day 2: Thimphu
    1 hour 20 minutes (54 km) from Paro

    In the morning, visit the Buddha Dordenma statue and the Memorial Chorten. In the afternoon, explore the Thimphu weekend market and the Folk Heritage Museum. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk through the Tashichho Dzong fortress.

  3. Day 3: Punakha
    2 hours 20 minutes (85 km) from Thimphu

    In the morning, visit the impressive Punakha Dzong fortress followed by a hike to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch by the river and visit the Chimi Lhakhang fertility temple. In the evening, return to Thimphu.

  4. Day 4: Phobjikha Valley
