Try a Surti thali or local seafood at a clean local restaurant; Surti dhabas and thalis showcase regional flavours and are a good introduction to Gujarati cuisine.
Sardar Patel Museum (usually open ~10:00am–5:00pm) is a short cultural stop; alternatively visit Dumas Beach for a relaxed late afternoon walk (open 24h).
Have dinner at a recommended local thali restaurant or your hotel — enjoy dal, rotla, shaak and Surti undhiyu if available. Most places serve until 10:00pm.
Leave after breakfast for the Gir area (~170–200 km, ~3.5–4.5h). Arrive midday and check in to your lodge close to the park to be ready for safari bookings.
Gir safaris are operated by the forest department in morning and evening slots (morning ~6:00–9:00am, evening ~3:30–6:30pm depending on season). Evening safari increases chances for predator sightings; book online in advance through Forest Dept. or through your lodge.
Morning safaris (usually ~6:00–9:00am) are the best chance to see Asiatic lions and other wildlife. Confirm zone and timing with Forest Dept.; pre-book the jeep and guide.
Somnath Temple is open early morning through late evening (generally ~4:00am–9:00pm). Plan for darshan and the serene temple complex by the Arabian Sea; Seva and Annadhan options available.

Long driving day: Dwarka → Bhuj is ~350–420 km depending on route and takes ~7–9h. Plan frequent stops, refuelling and a relaxed pace. Consider breaking the drive if needed.
If time permits, visit Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal (museums/palaces in Bhuj; typical timings ~9:00am–6:00pm) or save them for tomorrow. Evening relax at the hotel.
Great Rann of Kutch is best at sunrise (and sunset). Drive Bhuj → Dhordo (approx 1.5–2.5h depending on exact location) to reach the white salt plains for sunrise photography and walking on the salt desert.
Kala Dungar (approx open 8:00am–5:00pm) gives panoramic views over the Rann; it's also a spiritual spot with the Dattatreya temple. Expect a short drive from Dhordo.
Head back to the white salt plains for the dramatic sunset (best viewed on clear days). If you’re visiting outside Rann Utsav season, plains are still accessible — check local road conditions.
