Other local attractions worth considering include the Magnetic Hill, Zanskar Valley, and the Lamayuru Monastery. If you have extra time, consider taking a side trip to the beautiful Turtuk village near the Pakistan border. To maximize your fun, make sure to stay hydrated and take breaks for altitude sickness. Additionally, try the local cuisine, including momos and thukpa, and buy souvenirs from the local markets. Finally, make sure to pack warm clothes and sunscreen, as the weather in Ladakh can be unpredictable.
