Tips

If you wish to extend the journey, add a full day in Udaipur to explore the surrounding vineyards and the Kumbhalgarh Fort, or spend an extra night in Jaipur for a day trip to the nearby Pushkar fair. To shorten the trip, you can combine Day 1 and Day 2 by flying to Udaipur and start the road adventure from there, or skip the camel safari in Jaisalmer and head straight back to Jaipur after the fort visit. Either way, ensure your vehicle is serviced before the long drives and keep snacks and water handy for the desert stretches.
