Reach the peaceful hamlet of Jibhi in the morning; check in and drop your luggage. The village is small and scenic with pine and cedar forests and a riverside setting — a perfect Himalayan welcome.
Enjoy a hearty Himachali breakfast (stuffed parathas, local chutney, chai) served by your guesthouse host — many stays include breakfast and open by 8:00am–9:00am.
A short scenic walk (10–20 minutes from many stays) to the Jibhi waterfall and cascading streams; great for photos, dipping toes and relaxing by the water. Open all day.
Check into your cottage/guesthouse, rest and later stroll cobbled lanes, wooden houses and viewpoints around the village. Many guesthouses allow relaxed check-in from 12:00pm–2:00pm onward.
Enjoy home-cooked Himachali curry, dal, rice and seasonal vegetables; many homestays serve freshly caught trout if available (confirm while booking). Dinner service usually 7:00pm–9:00pm.
Road to Jalori Pass ascends from Jibhi; leave early to avoid fog and crowds and to get cooler trekking conditions. Road is open daylight hours (typically 6:00am–6:00pm in normal seasons).
Moderate trek (approx 3 km one-way, 1.5–2 hours round-trip depending pace) through pine/silver fir forest to the clear alpine Serolsar Lake — a must-see for its reflections and solitude. Start early; access and daylight recommended 7:00am–5:00pm.
Evening at leisure: read by the river, enjoy the village ambience and plan the following day's exit. Guesthouses typically welcome evening tea service.
Begin the drive back to Delhi; expect 10–12 hours depending on traffic, road conditions and stops. Plan rest/tea stops in Mandi/Una/Chandigarh as needed.
