South East England Road Trip Itinerary (26 – 30 August 2025)

Day 1: Tuesday 26 August – Journey to Tunbridge Wells

Morning: Depart from LL15 1PE and head southeast, stopping at the historic market town of Hemel Hempstead. Enjoy a stroll around the Old Town and grab a coffee at a local café.

Afternoon: Continue the drive to Tunbridge Wells, where you can explore the iconic Pantiles shopping arcade and the charming Tunbridge Wells Museum.

Evening: Check into your accommodation, then unwind with dinner at a traditional English pub in the town centre, followed by a relaxing walk along the River Medway.

Day 2: Wednesday 27 August – Exploring Tunbridge Wells & Nearby

Morning: Visit the historic Royal Victoria Place for boutique shopping, then wander through the beautiful gardens of the Calverley Grounds.

Afternoon: Take a short drive to Stevenage to see the futuristic town centre and the Stevenage Museum, offering insight into the town’s New Town heritage.
