Jaipur City Experiences: 3-Day Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: City Palace
    20 minutes (5.5 km) from Jaipur International Airport

    Start your day with a visit to the City Palace, the residence of the royal family. You can explore the grand halls, courtyards, and gardens of this stunning palace, which is a fine example of a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. In the evening, catch the sound and light show that takes you through the fascinating history of Jaipur and the City Palace.

  2. Day 2: Amber Fort

    Visit the magnificent Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This fort-palace complex stands on a hilltop overlooking the Maota Lake and offers stunning views of the surrounding Aravalli Hills. In the morning, take a guided tour of the fort and marvel at its intricate architecture, beautiful carvings, and stunning mirror work. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic elephant ride up to the fort.     Start your day with a visit to Hawa Mahal, one of the most iconic landmarks of Jaipur. The unique honeycomb structure of this palace, with its 953 small windows, was built for the royal ladies to watch the city life and processions. In the morning, take a guided tour of the palace and learn about its history and architecture. In the afternoon, head to Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II. Explore the collection of astronomical instruments and marvel at their accuracy and precision. In the evening, take a walk around the vibrant bazaars of the old city and indulge in some shopping and local delicacies.

While in Jaipur, don't miss the chance to witness the grandeur of the Jal Mahal, a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake.
