4-Day Bachelorette Party Itinerary in Chennai - October 2023

  1. Day 1: Marina Beach
    20 minutes (6.5 km) from Chennai Airport

    In the morning, take a peaceful walk on the golden sands of Marina Beach, the second-longest urban beach in the world. You can also indulge in some street food and coconut water. Later, head to the Vivekananda House to learn about Swami Vivekananda's life and teachings. In the evening, visit the famous Kapaleeshwarar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple architecture is a blend of several Dravidian styles and is a must-visit for history buffs.

  2. Day 2: Mahabalipuram
    1 hour 30 minutes (60 km) from Chennai

    Take a day trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mahabalipuram, known for its rock-cut temples and monuments from the 7th and 8th centuries. Visit the Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas, and the Krishna Mandapam. Take a stroll on the beach, and shop for authentic handicrafts and souvenirs. In the evening, head back to Chennai and relax at the hotel spa.

  3. Day 3: Phoenix Marketcity
    25 minutes (10 km) from Chennai Central Railway Station

Watch a movie at the cinema and enjoy delicious food at the food court. In the evening, visit the historic Fort St. George, built-in 1644 by the British East India Company.   4. Day 4: Muttukadu Backwaters
    40 minutes (20 km) from Chennai

    End your trip on a relaxing note by spending the day at Muttukadu Backwaters. Go boating, jet skiing, and windsurfing in the serene backwaters. You can also indulge in some seafood delicacies at the nearby fishing village. In the evening, head to the Mahabalipuram Dance Festival (Oct-Nov) if it's happening during your visit. The open-air festival showcases the traditional dance forms of Tamil Nadu.
