3-Day Adventure Itinerary in Bangalore, July 2023

  1. Day 1: Shivagange
    1 hour 15 minutes (37 miles) from Bangalore

    MORNING: Start the day early and drive to Shivagange, a hillock situated near Dobbaspet. Its unique rock formations make for a challenging yet thrilling climb up to the top. Along the way, you'll see ancient temples, religious shrines, and natural water springs.

    AFTERNOON: After you've reached the top, take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Take plenty of photos and enjoy a packed lunch while you're there.

    EVENING: Head back to Bangalore and visit Bangalore Palace. This majestic palace is a perfect example of traditional south Indian architecture. The palace grounds also have a beautiful garden, making it a perfect place to unwind after a long day.

  2. Day 2: Anthargange
    2 hours 20 minutes (48 miles) from Bangalore

    MORNING: Another early start today as you make your way to Anthargange, a hill range located in Kolar. The highlight of this place is the ancient cave temple Kashi Vishweshwara Temple, which is located at the top of the hill.

    AFTERNOON: Descend from the peak and enjoy the numerous opportunities for trekking, rock climbing, and rappelling. The rugged terrain and challenging activities will keep you engaged for hours.

    EVENING: Drive back to Bangalore and visit the Bull Temple. This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has a 15-foot-tall statue of a sacred bull, Nandi. The temple is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike and is even more beautiful in the evening when it's illuminated.

  3. Day 3: Bheemeshwari
    3 hours (100 km) from Bangalore

    MORNING: Today's adventure takes you to Bheemeshwari, a small town located on the banks of the Cauvery River. The town is famous for its river rafting experience. You can choose between a 9 km and a 14 km rafting experience, both of which will take you through some of the most picturesque landscapes in the region.

    AFTERNOON: After the rafting, enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants. There are plenty of local delicacies to try, so take your time and savor the flavors.

    EVENING: Visit the Muthathi Forest, which is located close to Bheemeshwari. The forest is home to numerous species of flora and fauna and is a perfect place for a nature walk. You can also spot wild animals like elephants, leopards, and tigers if you're lucky.
