3-Day Itinerary for Rishikesh and Dehradun in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Rishikesh
    30 minutes (15.6 miles) from Dehradun

    In the morning, visit the iconic Lakshman Jhula, a suspension bridge over the Ganges River. Take a dip in the holy water and visit the many temples in the area.   2. Day 2: Dehradun
    1 hour 13 minutes (28.5 miles) from Rishikesh

    In the morning, visit the Mindrolling Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist centers in India. Marvel at the intricate murals and statues and learn about the Buddhist teachings. In the afternoon, explore the Robber's Cave, a natural cave formation with a river running through it. Take a dip in the cool water and enjoy a picnic with snacks from the nearby vendors. In the evening, visit the Clock Tower, a bustling market area with local handicrafts, street food, and souvenirs.

  3. Day 3: Rishikesh
    30 minutes (15.6 miles) from Dehradun

    In the morning, take a short hike to the Neer Garh Waterfall, a serene spot with a waterfall and a small pool. Take a dip and enjoy the surrounding nature. In the afternoon, visit the Triveni Ghat, a confluence of three sacred rivers. Witness the evening aarti ceremony and take a boat ride on the river.
