Three Days Nature Itinerary in Lonavala

  1. Day 1: Lonavala Lake
    15 minutes (3.2 km) from Lonavala Railway Station

    In the morning, visit the Lonavala Lake, a serene and scenic spot surrounded by lush greenery. Take a walk around the lake and enjoy the cool breeze.     Start your day early and head to Rajmachi Wildlife Sanctuary, home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. The sanctuary offers trekking trails of various difficulties, suitable for every type of trekker. Wear comfortable shoes and pack a lunch for a day-long trek. The evening can be spent at the Bhushi Dam, a popular spot for picnics and swimming. Enjoy the cool water and the beautiful view of the surrounding hills.

  3. Day 3: Tikona Fort
    1 hour 10 minutes (37.9 km) from Rajmachi Wildlife Sanctuary

    Visit the Tikona Fort, a hill fort located on top of a hill overlooking the Pawna Lake. The fort offers a panoramic view of the valley and is a popular spot for trekking. The trek to the fort takes around 2 hours. Carry water and snacks for the trek. After returning from the trek, visit the nearby Pawna Lake for a relaxing evening. If you have an extra day, visit the Lohagad Fort, a historic fort that was once ruled by Shivaji Maharaj.
