Check into pre-booked rooms (many small resorts and homestays operate in Dahanu/Bordi; typical check-in 1:00–2:00pm). Rest and dry gear if damp from morning humidity.
Evening stroll on the beach or visit local market; monsoon sunsets and peacock sightings are common. Beaches accessible at any hour; exercise caution on slippery rocks.
Scenic inland ride into the Western Ghats foothills (approx 60–75 km) with twisty roads; rain and fog common — ride conservatively and in staggered formation.
Short trek/viewpoint to the monsoon-fed Dabhosa Falls — one of the biggest in the area and spectacular in rains; typical visiting hours 8:00am–6:00pm, small entry or parking fee may apply.
Visit Panorama Point, Sunset Point and a small tribal museum or local craft shops to learn about the Warli culture — viewpoint access typically 6:00am–6:00pm.
Eat an early breakfast and leave Jawhar toward Malshej Ghat to reach the ghats before late-afternoon cloudbursts; route will be longer (approx 100–130 km) with varied road quality.
Lunch at a dhaba or resort near Malshej; the ghats are famous for waterfalls, cloud-covered passes and migratory flamingoes in certain lakes during season.
Visit popular viewpoints, Bhivpuri Lakes and nearby waterfalls — most viewpoints are accessible 6:00am–6:00pm; trails can be slippery so use proper footwear.
Return route heads west/northwest via Bhiwandi/Palghar corridor toward NH48 and back to Vapi; expect longest continuous riding of the trip (approx 180–220 km depending on chosen route).
