4-Day Relaxing Itinerary in Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Anjuna Beach
    1-hour 16 minutes (26.6 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, relax on the soft sandy beach, watch the waves, and enjoy the sea breeze. In the afternoon, take a dip in the sea before trying some water sports like parasailing and windsurfing. In the evening, take a stroll to the nearby Anjuna Flea Market, where you can find a variety of items ranging from jewelry, clothes, handicrafts, and spices.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours 9 minutes (63.7 km) from Anjuna Beach

    In the morning, head to the Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and take a swim in the refreshing water. In the afternoon, take a jeep safari to the spice plantation and learn about the different spices grown in the region. In the evening, watch the sunset over the waterfall before heading back to your hotel.

  3. Day 3: Chapora Fort
    45 minutes (15.3 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    In the morning, visit the Chapora Fort, which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Take a walk around the ruins of the fort and snap some memorable photos. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Vagator Beach and relax on the golden sand. In the evening, watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea while sipping some refreshing coconut water.

  4. Day 4: Palolem Beach
    1 hour 21 minutes (39.9 km) from Chapora Fort

    In the morning, head to Palolem Beach, which is known for its crystal clear waters and white sand. Take a boat trip to see the dolphins or try some kayaking to explore the nearby caves. In the afternoon, relax on the beach and enjoy some fresh seafood. In the evening, witness the beach's nightlife by visiting some of the bars and clubs.

Recommendations

If you have more time, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also take a side trip to the nearby Mollem National Park, where you can find a variety of flora and fauna. Try the local cuisine, which is a blend of Indian and Portuguese influences. You can also do some souvenir shopping in the marketplaces, such as the Mapusa Friday Market and the Calangute Market Square.
