Begin the day exploring Puerta Princesa city, where you can visit the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, a beautifully designed church built in 1872. Then visit the Mitra's Ranch, a vast space with perfect picturesque views where you can relax and enjoy their famous ube hopia and ice cream. In the afternoon, take a stroll in Baker's Hill, home of delectable bread, cakes, and pastries such as their famous Hopia bread and chocolate crinkles.
Start early and head to the famed Puerto Princesa Underground River, one of the Seven New Wonders of Nature. Getting around Palawan can be done fairly quickly via tricycles, which cost around 50-150 PHP for short rides, Vans and SUVs can be rented for longer journeys at around 2000-3500 PHP. Public buses are also available that run frequently between major stopping points for around 120 PHP. The various tours will include transportation.

Palawan has one main airport which is the Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPS), located in Puerto Princesa city. It is 8 km north-east of the city center and serves flights from various cities in the Philippines and Asia, however, it is not a hub for airlines.
