    Ancient Ballari Fort is perched on a hilltop and is one of the main attractions in Ballari. The fort was home to many rulers, including the Vijayanagara Empire.

Recommendations

If you have time, consider visiting Anegundi, a nearby village that is a hidden gem with beautiful landscapes and temples. For a side trip, you can take a bus to Hospet, a small town located 13 km from Hampi, to explore the local markets and try some street food. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of walking on this itinerary.
