4-Day Nature Itinerary in Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    1 hour 41 minutes (40.3 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Start your nature-filled trip with a visit to the magnificent Dudhsagar Waterfalls. In the morning, witness the milky white waters of the four-tiered waterfall surrounded by lush greenery.   3. Day 3: Mollem National Park
    58 minutes (22.1 miles) from Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary

    Explore the beautiful Mollem National Park in the morning. Take a thrilling jeep safari through the dense vegetation and spot some of the exotic wildlife such as tigers, leopards, and black panthers. In the afternoon, trek up to the 13th-century Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple, located amidst the lush greenery of the park. Witness the beautiful carvings on the temple's black stone and learn about its history. In the evening, relax by the Dudhsagar River and soak in the peaceful ambiance.

  4. Day 4: Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 13 minutes (28.0 miles) from Mollem National Park

    Visit the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary in the morning, the smallest of Goa's wildlife sanctuaries. Spot some of the exotic wildlife such as sambar deer, Indian bison, and wild boars. In the afternoon, visit the mini zoo and learn about the sanctuary's conservation efforts. In the evening, take a nature walk through the park's nature trails and spot some exotic birds. Witness the beautiful sunset by the park's lake and end your nature-filled trip on a peaceful note.

Recommendations

Aside from the above itinerary, consider a side trip to the Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the Eastern part of Goa. The sanctuary is home to many exotic animals and birds such as tigers, elephants, and hornbills. Also, consider a trip to the beaches of South Goa, such as Colva and Palolem, for some stunning views of the Arabian Sea.
