Recommendations

There are many other local attractions and experiences you can consider, such as visiting Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World, or taking a dip in the famous hot water springs of Gaurikund. You can also consider going on a wildlife safari at the Rajaji National Park or exploring the ancient ruins of the Harappan civilization at the Hastinapur Sanctuary. To maximize your fun, try to plan your trip during the monsoon season (July-August) when the rivers are in full flow and the surrounding landscapes are lush green. Don't forget to pack comfortable walking shoes, warm clothing, and rain gear, as the weather can be unpredictable in the mountains.
