Fly from Bangalore (BLR) to Cebu (CEB) or Manila (MNL) with one stop, then take a domestic flight to Dumaguete (Sibulan, DGT). This is the most practical air route to reach the ferry boarding point for Siquijor.
Take the public or fast ferry from Dumaguete to Siquijor port (Larena or Siquijor town). Ferries run frequently through the day; crossing is about 45–75 minutes depending on vessel.
Settle into your beachfront villa in the Paliton/San Juan area — options range from simple beachfront cottages to private luxury villas right on sand for swimming at low tide and sunset views.
Dine at a nearby beachfront restaurant or villa-run kitchen: expect freshly grilled fish, calamari and local vegetable dishes with sea views (many places open 18:00–22:00).
Board your private yacht/boat for a full-day island-hopping and snorkel charter. The captain will propose snorkel spots around Paliton, the north and possible day trips to the reefs near Apo Island (weather permitting).
First snorkel stops at shallow coral gardens near Paliton and other reefs—these reefs are great for warm-water snorkelling, spotting colourful reef fish and easy swimming; gear is usually provided or rentable.
Enjoy a lunch prepared on-board by your crew or a beach picnic arranged at a quiet cove—fresh seafood or grilled dishes are common for charters and make the day special.
If weather and schedule allow, combine with a longer hop to Apo Island's marine sanctuary (one of the Philippines' best snorkel spots) — this adds travel time but rewards with turtles and dense reef life. Confirm with captain the extra cost and port/permit needs beforehand.
Try a reputable seaside restaurant or ask your villa to prepare a private dinner; sample kinilaw (Filipino ceviche) or grilled lobster if in season (many places open 18:00–21:30).
After breakfast, collect a hired scooter or meet your private driver-guide for a clockwise island loop — this is the most efficient way to see inland sights in one day.
Swim in the multi-tiered cascades of Cambugahay Falls — a favourite for cliff jumps and clear pools; site open typically 8:00am–5:00pm with a small local entrance fee.
Walk Capilay Spring Park near Siquijor town to see a calm spring surrounded by banyan trees, and explore small local markets for snacks and handicrafts (park generally open daytime hours).
See the historic Lazi Church and convent (a 19th-century stone structure) — open generally 8:00am–5:00pm, a calm cultural stop for photos and history.
Swim at Salagdoong Park and try (or watch) cliff jumping from marked platforms; park is usually open 8:00am–5:00pm and charges a small fee and locker/entrance costs.
Finish your island loop with a relaxed dinner: choose a beachside bistro or ask the villa to arrange a private barbecue on the sand (advance request recommended).
Pack, check out and transfer to Siquijor ferry terminal; allow time for luggage and traffic—ferries to Dumaguete run several times daily but schedule changes seasonally.
Board the ferry back to Dumaguete in time for your domestic flight onward. Always leave an extra 2–3 hours between ferry arrival and flight departure to allow for delays.
Fly from Dumaguete to the international hub (Cebu or Manila) and catch your onward international connection to Bengaluru. Check-in 2 hours before your international flight.
