Recommendations

If you have an extra day, consider visiting the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the top wildlife reserves in India, located around 3 hours away from Kochi. You can also take a day trip to Munnar, a picturesque hill station with lush tea plantations and scenic views. To maximize your fun, try the traditional Kerala cuisine, including the famous appam and stew, seafood, and the local favorite, puttu and kadala curry. We also recommend trying out the Ayurvedic massage and treatments, a specialty of the region.
