3-Day Itinerary for Sagara in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Mattur
    30 minutes (14.3 km) from Sagara

    In the morning, visit the unique village of Mattur known for its native Sanskrit-speaking residents. Interact with the locals and learn about their traditions and way of life. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Sakrebailu Elephant Camp to see elephants in their natural habitat. Take a boat ride on the river and watch the elephants bathe and play. In the evening, explore the nearby Jog Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India, and enjoy the stunning views.

  2. Day 2: Keladi and Ikkeri

Finally, take a leisurely stroll through the lovely gardens of the Ikkeri Fort.

  3. Day 3: Hidlumane Falls
