    Mount Tronador is one of the highest peaks in Patagonia that can be accessed by car. Visitors can hike trails, cross glaciers, waterfalls, and small streams. The area has several campsites suitable for overnight stays, and trout fishing is permissible in some rivers and lagoons, making Mount Tronador another nature lover’s paradise.

  • Day 4: Ventisquero Negro Glacier
    1 hour 50 minutes (100 km) from Mount Tronador

    The hike to the Ventisquero Negro Glacier features ice climbing, and visitors need to cross the Manso River. Guides are available for hire, and visitors must note that hiking in adverse weather conditions might result in tour cancellations. The glacier’s dark color is a result of volcanic ash fallout.

  • Day 5: Lago Gutierrez
    35 minutes (20 km) from Ventisquero Negro Glacier

Transportation
