5-Day Bali Itinerary in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Ubud
    1 hour 15 minutes (18.9 miles) from Ngurah Rai International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Ubud Monkey Forest and interact with the playful primates. After lunch, head to the Ubud Art Market to pick up some souvenirs and then explore the Pura Taman Saraswati Temple. In the evening, catch a traditional Balinese dance performance at the Ubud Palace.

  2. Day 2: Mount Batur
    1 hour 30 minutes (29.6 miles) from Ubud

    Watch the sunrise from the summit of Mount Batur after a challenging early morning hike. After descending the mountain, visit the nearby hot springs to relax and unwind. In the late afternoon, tour the Tirta Empul Temple and learn about its holy water and purification rituals.

  3. Day 3: Tanah Lot
    1 hour 30 minutes (16.7 miles) from Ubud

    Visit the iconic Tanah Lot Temple in the morning and enjoy the stunning ocean views. After lunch, head to the Bali Butterfly Park to see a variety of beautiful butterflies and other insects. In the evening, take a stroll along the beach at Seminyak and watch the sunset.

  4. Day 4: Uluwatu

  5. Day 5: Nusa Penida

After lunch, head to Angel's Billabong and Broken Beach to see the natural rock formations and swim in the crystal clear waters.
