Land and clear passport control and baggage; follow airport signs to the metro (M11) station inside the terminal. Allow time for deplaning and passport control — busy periods can add 20–40 minutes.
Board the M11 metro line toward Gayrettepe; trains run frequently and this is the direct metro connection from the airport into the city. Metro operating hours are roughly 06:00–00:00, so a 14:30 departure is well within service hours.
At Gayrettepe, follow signage to the M2 line transfer corridor; this is a covered, well-marked transfer but allow 5–10 minutes for walking and escalators.
Board the M2 metro in the direction of Yenikapı and ride to Vezneciler station, which is the nearest stop for Grand Yavuz Hotel. The M2 line runs frequently and the ride takes only a few stops from Gayrettepe.
Exit Vezneciler station and walk approximately 5 minutes to Grand Yavuz Hotel; streets are pedestrian-friendly and signs or a quick map check will get you there easily.
