In the afternoon, you will arrive at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge, an all-inclusive luxury safari lodge located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. After settling into your room, you will head out on your first game drive with a knowledgeable guide to explore the reserve and spot the "Big Five" animals: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinoceroses, and buffaloes. You will witness the beautiful sunset while enjoying your sundowners before returning to the lodge for dinner.
On the second day, you will have a full day of game drives and bush walks. You will start early in the morning with a game drive before breakfast and then take a guided bush walk to learn about the flora and fauna of the reserve. After lunch, you will have some time to relax before going on an afternoon game drive. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner under the stars and listen to the sounds of the African bush.
Today you will take a break from game drives and explore the Panoramic Route, which is known for its breathtaking views of the Blyde River Canyon, the third-largest canyon in the world. You will visit famous landmarks like God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, and the Three Rondavels. After a full day of sightseeing, you will return to the lodge for dinner.
On your last day, you will have one final game drive in the morning before breakfast. You will then pack up and depart from Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge to Skukuza Airport.
If you have extra time, consider visiting the nearby Kruger National Park, the largest game reserve in South Africa, and home to an array of wildlife. You can also extend your trip to explore other parts of South Africa, such as Cape Town or Johannesburg. To maximize your fun, we recommend booking activities in advance and arriving at the airport at least two hours before your scheduled departure time. Lastly, make sure to bring comfortable clothing and shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
