3-Day Itinerary for Goa in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Panaji
    35 minutes (14.9 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the famous Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, head to the Fontainhas neighbourhood to admire the colourful Portuguese-style buildings. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Christian Art to see a unique collection of Indo-Portuguese Christian art. During the evening, take a stroll along the Mandovi River and enjoy the sunset while sipping on a refreshing drink.

  2. Day 2: Beach Day
    23 minutes (9.5 km) from Panaji

    Start your day at Baga Beach, where you can relax on the shore or take a dip in the sea. In the afternoon, head to Calangute Beach to enjoy water sports such as parasailing and jet skiing. If you're feeling adventurous, take a short hike to the nearby Fort Aguada for stunning views of the coastline. End the day with a delicious seafood dinner at one of the many beach shacks.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    1 hour 30 minutes (60 km) from Calangute Beach

    Take a day trip to the impressive Dudhsagar Waterfalls, located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. Spend the morning hiking to the falls and admiring the stunning views. After lunch, visit the nearby Tambdi Surla Temple, one of the oldest temples in Goa. Return to your hotel in the evening for a relaxing night.
