4-Day Volunteering Itinerary for Goa in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit to Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary
    20 minutes (8.4 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, head to Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, which is named after India's most prominent ornithologist. Spend the morning birdwatching in the lush green surroundings.   3. Day 3: Visit to Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 30 minutes (46 miles) from International Animal Rescue

    Today, visit the majestic Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Spend the day exploring the surrounding forests and taking in the beauty of the falls. Afterward, head to the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can see a variety of animals in their natural habitats.

  4. Day 4: Volunteer at the Goa Chitra Museum
    1 hour 30 minutes (39 miles) from Dudhsagar Falls

    On your last day, visit the Goa Chitra Museum, which showcases the traditional agrarian lifestyles of Goa. Afterward, volunteer at the Goa Animal Welfare Trust, where you can help take care of animals in need. End your day by taking a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River.
