Nice Old Town, also known as Vieille Ville, is a maze of charming narrow streets and historic buildings. There are many restaurants and bars where you can enjoy some famous Nicoise food or local beer. You can also visit the daily flower and food markets held in Cours Saleya.
The hilltop park overlooking the sea and the old town of Nice is a great place to relax and enjoy the stunning views. There are several walking paths, gardens, and even a waterfall. At the top of the hill, you can visit the remains of the castle as well.
Cours Saleya is a vibrant square in the heart of the Old Town where the famous flower and food markets are held every day (except Mondays). You can also find many restaurants and shops in the area to enjoy some local cuisine and souvenirs.
Promenade des Anglais is a long and beautiful seaside promenade that stretches along the Baie des Anges. It’s a great place to enjoy a relaxing walk or bike ride, sunbathe on public or private beaches, or have a drink at one of the many beach bars and restaurants.
Located at the eastern end of the Promenade des Anglais, Nice Harbour is a busy and picturesque marina that offers a great selection of seafood restaurants, boat trips, and water sports activities. You can also enjoy watching the sunset over the sea from the harbour.
Most of the attractions are located within walking distance from each other, so you can easily explore them on foot. However, if you want to save time and energy, you can use the local bus service or rent a bike. Bus tickets cost 1.5 EUR per ride, and bike rentals start from 10 EUR per hour.
If you have more time, you can visit some museums or art galleries, such as Musée Matisse, Musée National Marc Chagall, or Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain. If you have less time, you can skip Colline du Château or Nice Harbour.
Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) is the main international airport serving Nice and the French Riviera. It's located about 7 km southwest of the city centre and offers direct flights to many European and international destinations. You can easily reach the city centre by bus, taxi, or train.
