6-Day Relaxation Itinerary for Himachal in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Manali
    2 hours 30 minutes (52.6 km) from Bhuntar Airport

    In the morning, visit the Hadimba Temple, a serene, peaceful place surrounded by pine trees. In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful stroll through the Van Vihar National Park, where you can take a boat ride on the serene waters of Manalsu Nallah.   2. Day 2: Kullu

In the afternoon, visit the Kali Ka Tibba Temple, located on a hilltop with stunning views of the surrounding area. In the evening, relax at the Chail Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can spot a variety of wildlife and bird species.

  5. Day 5: Dharamshala
    5 hours 30 minutes (235 km) from Chail

    In the morning, visit the Namgyal Monastery, the largest Tibetan temple outside of Tibet, and learn about Tibetan Buddhism. In the afternoon, visit the Kangra Fort, one of the oldest forts in India, and admire its architecture and history.   6. Day 6: Dalhousie
    3 hours 30 minutes (143 km) from Dharamshala

    In the morning, visit the Satdhara Falls, a beautiful waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. In the afternoon, visit the Khajjiar Lake, also known as the Mini Switzerland of India, and enjoy the scenic beauty and adventure activities. In the evening, head to the Panchpula Waterfall, which is located at a height of 2,000 meters and offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

If you have more time, consider visiting Leh-Ladakh or Spiti Valley for a thrilling adventure. You can also take a side trip to the Rohtang Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
