5-Day Itinerary for Goa in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    1 hour (13.5 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, explore the 17th-century Fort Aguada, which was built to guard against Dutch and Maratha invasions. You can enjoy panoramic views of the Arabian Sea from the fort's ramparts. In the afternoon, relax at the Sinquerim Beach, which is adjacent to the fort.   2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 10 minutes (46.5 miles) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Today, take a day trip to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls, which is one of the tallest waterfalls in India. You can hike through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary to reach the falls or take a jeep safari. In the evening, return to your hotel to relax.

  4. Day 4: Anjuna Flea Market
    1 hour (12.5 miles) from Dudhsagar Falls

    In the morning, visit the Anjuna Flea Market which is famous for its hippie culture and vibrant atmosphere. You can shop for clothes, jewelry, handicrafts, and souvenirs. In the afternoon, head to the Vagator Beach which is known for its scenic beauty. In the evening, enjoy a night out at the Tito's Lane in Baga, which has numerous clubs and bars.

  5. Day 5: Reis Magos Fort

    On your last day, visit the Reis Magos Fort, which has been recently renovated and converted into a cultural center. You can learn about Goa's heritage and history by visiting the galleries, museum and art exhibitions. In the afternoon, relax at the Candolim Beach, which has fewer crowds and offers water sports activities. In the evening, enjoy a sunset boat ride on the Mandovi River.
