Transportation

Airports

Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA) is the main international airport, located 30 km southwest of Tehran. It's accessible via the Tehran-Qom Highway and serves flights from all over the world. There's also the Mehrabad International Airport, located in the western part of Tehran, that is now solely dedicated for domestic flights since the opening of new Imam Khomeini International Airport.
