Fly early morning Pune to Delhi to save time — flight ~2 hours and gives buffer to connect to an evening Volvo to Manali. Book low-cost carriers in advance for best fares.
Board an overnight Volvo or state-run bus from Delhi (ISBT) to Manali; comfortable and cost-effective for travellers without a private vehicle. Buses typically depart evening and arrive next morning.
Arrive in Manali, check into a budget room with mountain/valley view in Old Manali — ideal location for cafés and walking access to main sights. Rooms often include views of the valley or pine-clad slopes.
A wooden pagoda-style temple surrounded by cedar forest — peaceful and scenic; short walk from Old Manali and great for photos and a calm morning stroll. Typically open early morning through evening.
Short taxi/tuk-tuk to Vashisht to use the hot springs and see local temples; pleasant to relax after bus travel. Thermal baths generally open during daytime; verify seasonally.
Choose a cosy café on the Mall or Old Manali for simple Himachali or continental food and a relaxed atmosphere. Cafés typically open until late evening.
Half-day trip to Solang for the ropeway (open ~9:00am–5:00pm), zorbing, and paragliding (seasonal). Great snow/valley views and adventure options — book activities locally the same day if weather permits.
Take a shared taxi or local bus to Naggar (30–45 minutes) to visit Naggar Castle and Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery — excellent mountain panoramas and cultural interest.
Visit Gulaba and Marhi en route to higher passes — good for short walks and photo stops; if Rohtang permits are available and road open you can enquire locally (Rohtang is seasonal and often closed Nov–Apr).
Travel from Manali to Bhuntar then onward to Kasol. Local buses are cheapest; shared taxis are faster. Journey ~3–4 hours total depending on connection.

Descend and return to Kasol villages; enjoy a relaxed evening and dinner. If you plan to stay overnight at Kheerganga, budget for guesthouse costs and colder nights.
Short bus/taxi to Manikaran to see the gurudwara and hot springs; the communal langar and hot water springs are culturally and visually interesting. Gurudwara open 24/7, ideal mid-morning visit.
Kasol has a strong backpacker café culture — daytime relaxation, evening music or small bonfires at select guesthouses/cafés (seasonal). This is the social scene where many travellers meet.
Kasol and Parvati Valley are known for a cannabis culture, but possession/use is illegal in India and can attract legal trouble. I do not advise or facilitate illegal activity — enjoy legal cafe culture, music and the valley’s atmosphere instead.
Ride to Tosh for mountain lanes, waterfalls and a quieter village vibe; walk around and enjoy the view back down the Parvati valley. Small buses/jeeps go regularly from Kasol/Barshaini.
Malana is a culturally distinct village with strict community rules. If you plan to visit, go with a licensed local guide and respect local customs; note some times/seasonal access issues and strong local opposition to tourism that disrespects the village.

Arrive Delhi in the morning; rest in a budget hotel or hostel near the railway station if your train to Pune departs the next day. Use the day to recover and pack.
Arrive back in Pune (arrival time depends on train chosen) and head home. You’re scheduled to be back by this day as requested; adjust train selection if you need an earlier/later arrival.
