2-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Anjuna Beach
    45 minutes (11 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Morning: Start your day at Anjuna Beach, famous for its stunning shoreline and clear waters. Take a dip in the ocean or relax on the beach while enjoying the view.

    Afternoon: Head to Curlies Shack for some delicious seafood and drinks. Enjoy the lively atmosphere and the music.

    Evening: Take a sunset cruise along the Mandovi River. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and the vibrant nightlife of Goa.

  2. Day 2: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (8.6 miles) from Anjuna Beach

    Morning: Visit Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Learn about the history of the fort and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surroundings.

    Afternoon: Enjoy a traditional Goan lunch at Souza Lobo, a popular beachside restaurant in Calangute.

    Evening: Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most famous churches in Goa. Take a stroll around the church and admire the baroque architecture.

Recommendations

If you have more time, visit the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. You can also take a spice plantation tour to learn about the different spices grown in Goa. If you're looking for a side trip, visit the beautiful beach town of Palolem or take a trip to the nearby Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary.

To maximize your fun, try some of the adventurous water sports like parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides. You can also take a hot air balloon ride or go on a trek in the Western Ghats. Don't forget to try the local cuisine, including seafood and traditional Goan dishes like vindaloo and sorpotel.
