Drive up to Dhupgarh (highest point in MP) for sunrise — spectacular panoramas; sunrise visit is best done very early (access by road and short walk; arrive by 5:00–5:30am).
Visit Bee Falls (refreshing cascade) followed by the flat Apsara Vihar plunge pools and viewpoints—both are best during daylight and are open roughly 8:00am–5:30pm (Bee Falls may have seasonal water levels in May/June).
Explore small trails, viewpoints like Jubilee Point and the local handicraft market for souvenirs and tribal crafts; shops typically open 9:00am–6:00pm.
Afternoon/late-afternoon safari in Kanha — afternoon safari slots are usually around 3:00pm–6:00pm; book permits/jeep in advance as slots sell out, and gates open ~1 hour before slot time.
Morning safari is the best time for tiger and general wildlife sightings; typical morning jeep slots run from ~6:00am–9:30am — be ready at the gate at least 45–60 minutes before your slot.
