Madhuri's 3-Day Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Best of Mumbai
    20 minutes (7.3 km) from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

    In the morning, head to the Gateway of India, a historic landmark that overlooks the Arabian Sea and was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai. From there, take a ferry to Elephanta Island to explore the ancient caves and sculptures. In the afternoon, visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and admire its Victorian Gothic style. End the day at the Marine Drive, also known as the Queen's Necklace, to enjoy a spectacular sunset.

  2. Day 2: Experience the Culture and Cuisine of Mumbai
    15 minutes (5.2 km) from Marine Drive

    Start the day at the Siddhivinayak Temple, one of the most popular Hindu temples in Mumbai, and witness the devotion of its worshippers. Afterward, head to the Crawford Market, a vibrant bazaar with a wide variety of goods and delicacies. In the evening, visit the Haji Ali Dargah, a mosque and tomb located on a tiny islet in the Arabian Sea, and try some local street food at the nearby Mahim Market.

  3. Day 3: Relax and Rejuvenate in Goa
    1 hour 15 minutes (29.3 km) from Goa International Airport

    Fly to Goa in the morning and check-in at a beachfront resort. Spend the day exploring the beaches and villages of North Goa, such as Anjuna, Baga, and Calangute. In the afternoon, visit the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India, and take a refreshing dip in its pool. End the day with a yoga or meditation session at a nearby ashram.

If you have extra time in Mumbai, consider visiting the Sanjay Gandhi National Park or the Kanheri Caves. If you want to venture beyond Goa, visit the Dudhsagar Plantation or the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.
