Delhi to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Kedarnath Bachelor Party Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Haridwar
    Distance from Delhi: 224 km (4 hours 40 minutes)

    Haridwar is one of the seven holiest places in Hinduism. Start your day with a dip in the Ganges River at Har Ki Pauri Ghat, which is believed to wash away sins. Then, visit the Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple, both located on hilltops with stunning views of the city. In the afternoon, head to the Rajaji National Park for a wildlife safari, where you can spot tigers, leopards, and elephants. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Har Ki Pauri Ghat, where Hindu priests perform a ritual of worshipping the Ganges River with fire.

  2. Day 2: Rishikesh and Kedarnath
    Distance from Haridwar to Rishikesh: 20 km (30 minutes), Distance from Rishikesh to Kedarnath: 225 km (8 hours 30 minutes)

    In the morning, head to Rishikesh, the "Yoga Capital of the World." Start your day with a yoga or meditation session at one of the many ashrams, such as Parmarth Niketan or Sivananda Ashram. Then, visit the Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula suspension bridges, which offer stunning views of the Ganges River and the surrounding mountains. In the afternoon, go for a thrilling white water rafting experience in the Ganges River. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, which is a spiritual experience unlike any other. After the ceremony, head to Kedarnath, one of the four holy shrines of Hinduism dedicated to Lord Shiva, for an overnight stay.

Recommendations

If you have extra time in Haridwar, visit the Maya Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, and Bhimgoda Kund. You can also take a cable car to the top of the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple for panoramic views. In Rishikesh, you can try bungee jumping, zip-lining, or rock climbing at Jumpin Heights. You can also visit the Beatles Ashram, where the famous band members stayed in the 1960s and wrote many of their hit songs. If you have more time, you can visit Badrinath, another holy shrine of Hinduism, or go trekking in the nearby mountains.
