4-Day Shoestring Budget Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore North Goa Beaches

    In the morning, spend some time at the Baga beach, one of the most popular beaches in North Goa, and try some water sports.   2. Day 2: Explore South Goa Beaches
    1 hour 5 minutes (28 miles) from Vagator Beach

    Start your day by visiting the Palolem Beach, known for its picturesque views and dolphin sighting tours. In the afternoon, head to the Colva Beach, one of the oldest and largest beaches in South Goa, and enjoy some local seafood. End your day at the Agonda Beach, a serene and secluded beach that offers a relaxing atmosphere.

  3. Day 3: Visit Old Goa and Panaji
    1 hour 25 minutes (36 miles) from Agonda Beach

    Start your day by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa. After that, head to the Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia. In the afternoon, explore the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas in Panaji and visit the famous Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church. End your day with a river cruise on the Mandovi River.

  4. Day 4: Dudhsagar Falls and Spice Plantation
    1 hour 30 minutes (40 miles) from Mandovi River

    Start your day early and head to the Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. You can either trek or take a jeep safari to reach the waterfalls. In the afternoon, visit one of the spice plantations in Ponda and learn about the various spices and herbs grown in Goa. End your day with a sumptuous Goan meal at a local restaurant.
